Gifts made during Vandal Giving Day support our:
Dean's Innovation Fund
Dean Suzanna Long's vision is to empower faculty researchers to explore bold ideas to solve the world's biggest challenges. The Dean's Innovation Fund supports our world-class research and the advancement of pioneering ideas, strengthening our competitive edge for grants and new industry partnerships.
Thanks to the generosity of the Robert & Gloria Furgason Family, every dollar given to the Dean's Innovation Fund will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000! Achieving our goal of $5,000 will unlock an additional $5,000 from the Robert & Gloria Furgason Family!
Engineering Student Clubs and Organizations
Students participating in engineering clubs develop leadership skills, practice hands-on engineering, increase communication and teamwork capabilities, gain an appreciation for their community through volunteerism and build competitive resumes. Your gift helps Engineering Student Clubs and Organizations by enabling competition participation, minimizing professional conference expenses and supporting club projects.
The 10th gift to Engineering Student Clubs will unlock a $1,000 gift from Ray & Joana to the Robotics Club and the 20th gift will unlock a gift of $1,350 from Thomas & Jeanette von Alten to the Humanitarian Engineering Club!
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
Students who pass the FE Exam signal to employers their engineering competency and technical skills. The students are more competitive in the job market and may leverage the exam to earn higher salaries right out of school. Administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying and offered nationwide, our students score consistently higher than national averages in exam areas related to key engineering competencies, including ethics, professional practice, design and analysis.
Your gift will directly support students with exam registration expenses.
The first 20 gifts to the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam will unlock an additional $100 gift from Ellwood Werry '51, B.S. Mechanical Engineering!
