The University of Idaho College of Education, Health and Human Sciences (EHHS) has a 100+ year history of excellence in student success. We are committed to serving the people of Idaho and the region by providing a diverse set of undergraduate and graduate programs in education, leadership, health sciences, recreation and performing arts for students from all backgrounds.  

EHHS has a strong reputation for innovation and scholarly engagement in Idaho, the Northwest and beyond. As an EHHS community, we continue the tradition of excellence in innovative and scholarly engagement that cultivates transformation in teaching, learning, leadership and well-being. Your Vandal Giving Day gift to your favorite EHHS excellence and/or scholarship fund will enrich the opportunities and successes of EHHS students and faculty. Together we TEACH, we MOVE, we LEAD!

The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences has six unique areas to support. Within each, Excellence funds provide support to students for their overall success and growth. Scholarship funds provide direct financial support.  

  • The Department of Curriculum and Instruction focuses on education and teacher preparation. 
  • The Department of Movement Sciences focuses on health, recreation, wellness and human performance.
  • The Department of Leadership & Counseling focuses on building leadership capacity in schools and human service organizations.
  • The Center on Disability and Human Development focuses on helping people with disabilities live, work, learn and play in their communities.
  • The Center of Ethics focuses on developing and advancing character education.
  • The TRIO-INSPIRE Program builds pathways for low-income Americans to enter and succeed in college.
  • The Doceo Center focuses on integrating and using technology in classrooms and throughout education.
