Enriching cross-cultural experiences across the campus to shape the future of our world.


Each year, hundreds of international students and scholars make the brave decision to leave their home countries and everything they are familiar with to further their education at the University of Idaho. U of I is a home away from home for international students and scholars from more than 60 countries.

Our relationships and connections are broadened by learning more about our global community. International experiences that provide opportunities for cross-cultural understanding are important to an enriching university education.


 


We want you to be a part of creating these experiences to help shape the future of our inter-connected world!

In honor of Jo Ann Trail’s years of contribution to the University of Idaho’s International Programming, we invite you to support the Jo Ann Trail Endowment.

With your help this Vandal Giving Day, it will be possible to continue international programs and events like Cruise the World, International Education Week and Friendship Families - programs that all provide an immersive global experience for our local community. Saujan's Story

We'd like to share the story of one of our students, Saujan. Like many international students, Saujan arrived at the University of Idaho with just a couple of suitcases, but also with an excitement to pursue the endless opportunities to further his education in the United States while making his home country proud.

 


 

In the midst of culture shock, Saujan persistently sought out opportunities to engage across campus and grow as a leader - motivated to give back to the world. Saujan has been a part of several international programs such as Cruise the World, the International Student Ambassadors Program and the International Student Organization, which provide opportunities to mentor incoming students, plan immersive cultural events and build cross-cultural bridges in our local community. 


Your gifts help sustain these programs and provide opportunities to enrich education across the University of Idaho.


It would be an honor to have you join international students and scholars like Saujan to support international programming.
