University of Idaho Extension 4-H Youth Development provides Idaho youth with the hands-on, real-world experience they need to become responsible, productive citizens, meeting the changing needs of a diverse society. Participants complete projects in areas like health, science, agriculture and citizenship, in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors. 4-H programming reaches every county in Idaho with more than 70,000 youth participants each year, preparing the next generation of leaders.
