The passionate and innovative designers in the College of Art and Architecture are addressing issues of sustainability and inclusivity in partnership with our local, national and global communities. Please help us further our mission by donating to one of our funds.
College of Art and Architecture Excellence Fund
The College of Art and Architecture is committed to helping student leaders connect with national and regional professional organizations, develop leadership skills and participate in sponsored competitions. With ten student organizations representing five disciplines, your donation will support transformative leadership experiences across the college.
Design-Build Program
From conception to construction, students in our Design-Build Program work with real clients on real-world projects — like the Hat Ranch Winery in Caldwell and the Moose Creek Warming Hut just north of Sandpoint. Students in this dynamic, hands-on program learn what it takes to bring their designs to life, and they gather professional portfolio pieces that showcase designs they actually built. They work with non-profits and local businesses to positively impact Idaho’s communities. Your donation will support a facility for students to build portions of projects on site and store materials and tools.
Scholarships
Financial barriers often get in students’ way of pursuing a quality education. Please help us remove that barrier by making a direct donation to the scholarship fund. Your donation will support a student’s ability to embark on the design education of their dreams.
Summer Design Days
Summer Design Days offers high school students the chance to explore design-related disciplines during a three-day camp — and it allows the college a valuable recruitment opportunity. During this event, students immerse themselves in university life while staying on campus, getting to know our amazing faculty, experiencing the studio environment and completing hands-on workshops in all our disciplines. For the second year in row, we’re partnering with the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences to also offer workshops in apparel, textiles and design. Your donation will offer financial support to students attending the camp and help provide workshop supplies.
Our totals are still getting power-ups — the gifts keep coming! Joe's busy counting all these extra credits, but he promises he'll have a grand total for us tomorrow. Thank you for your generosity! #VandalsGive
