Fraternity & Sorority Life
Fraternity & Sorority Opportunity Fund
The University of Idaho has long been a leader in the fraternal movement in the northwest. The Fraternity & Sorority community at U of I is a collection of international organizations with deep histories, traditions, cultures and values. Through partnership of our active members, alumni and the university, our community fosters leadership, integrity, scholarship, loyalty, accountability and belonging in the lives of over 1,600 students.
At the University of Idaho, we understand the unique value that can come from a sisterhood of women or a brotherhood of men navigating the challenges of college and beyond. We also understand that there are always more Vandals on campus that can benefit from a fraternity/sorority experience, but may face financial barriers in attending recruitment or paying new member fees. This is where our Vandal Family can help.
Donations made to Fraternity & Sorority Opportunity Fund will provide financial assistance to students who are interested in joining one of our chapters. These funds will be utilized to provide scholarships that cover recruitment registration, new member fees and house bills. Your generosity will pave the way for many Vandals as they embark on their journey in fraternity and sorority life this fall and for years to come.
Great news! In January, President Scott Green announced a change to the policy for Fraternity and Sorority scholarships. Fraternity and Sorority scholarships will now stack on top of other institutional scholarships to increase the overall award!
