Vandal Giving Day 2022 Launches April 5 at 10:00 a.m.!

U of I Equity & Diversity

The Office of Equity and Diversity is committed to ensuring bias-free, safe spaces for our entire Vandal family, to achieve our university’s mission of focused and inclusive excellence.

College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) assists students who have qualifying migrant/seasonal farmwork backgrounds by providing financial and academic support services. Your contribution would support our ‘Si se Puede Endowment’ which directly support students at UI from farmworking backgrounds.

LGBTQA Office Programs Fund provides extra resources for cultural enrichment events and student support efforts to benefit all students at the University of Idaho. Money donated to the fund goes directly into the operation of the LGBTQA Office and to the implementation of social and educational events targeted to LGBTQA scholars.

Native American Student Center (NASC) empowers Native American students by meeting their academic, social and cultural needs as they navigate the college experience. The NASC serves as a supportive foundation for students to help ease the transition from home to campus life.

Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) supports our students who face financial difficulties which may impede them in completing their academic careers. With these funds, students in need have received help in covering everything from the cost of textbooks to healthcare expenses and other critical needs. Your contribution would provide the opportunity for our diverse scholars to continue excelling in their studies and achieve their academic goals while also enriching everyone's university experience.

Eric McMillan Diversity Scholarship provides financial support to African American/Black students that have overcome adversity in their life and demonstrate financial need. Your contribution would support retention for our African American/Black students at the University of Idaho.

Friends of the Women's Center The Women’s Center provides opportunities for education, connection, and support around women’s and gender issues. Your donation helps us to provide a safe and confidential space for survivors of interpersonal violence; create exciting and innovative co-curricular engagement activities; educate our community on issues that affect women and other underrepresented populations; and alleviate financial needs for students in a variety of important ways.

Athena Student Award aims to support and recognize students at the University of Idaho, who promote access, inclusion and advancement of women through their course of study or co-curricular activities. The selection is particularly interested in recognizing diverse and underrepresented individuals.
