College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Scholarship Fund
For the past 115 years, the University of Idaho College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) has been improving lives for Idahoans, the nation and the world.
We are finding ways to create and sustain an abundant food supply. We’re building stronger economies. We’re developing a cleaner, healthier environment. We’re creating successful communities and families.
We are educating the next generation of agricultural and life science researchers, innovators and leaders. Our alumni find careers at top companies across the nation and we have a 94% job placement rate for new graduates. Together, we are solving the world’s problems through science that matters.
The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences offers over 400 scholarships exclusively to CALS students. Students are automatically considered for these scholarships based on their enrollment status, GPA, major and other qualifiers such as financial need.
CALS awarded nearly $1 million in scholarships to current and incoming students for the 2016-17 year. More than half of our students receive scholarships. Combined with external scholarships and waivers, our students receive more than $3.5 million in support each year.
There is a growing demand for graduates with a degree in agricultural and life science related fields and CALS is working to fill those jobs with well-prepared graduates who are ready to meet the challenges of a changing world. Can we count on your support today to provide more scholarships for our students in CALS?
