Here at CNR, our goal is help our students get the best educational experience for the best value. Our Dean’s Excellence Fund provides support to address our students’ needs through travel funding for conferences and service learning trips, student engagement activities, support for our student ambassadors and special projects.
The Dean’s Excellence Fund allows us to react quickly to student needs throughout the year, whether it is to cover travel costs for students to attend professional development events like the National Wildlife Conclave or the Society of American Foresters Convention. It also gives CNR the flexibility to do things like fund equipment for a student research project, or to improve our facilities to provide a better learning environment.

Thank you! Vandal Giving Day was more than just a day. It was a reminder of how strong Vandal Pride really is. Alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the University of Idaho showed what a difference one day can make, contributing an impressive 1,344 gifts totaling $441,313.
Over 36 hours, the Brave and Bold rallied together to help shape the future for our students and our great university. We extend a heartfelt thank you, and congratulations for our collective accomplishment. Go Vandals!
