I-D-A-H-O! Idaho! Idaho! Go, Go, Go!
With more than 230 members, the 2016 Vandal Marching Band is the largest in our history. The “Sound of Idaho” are ambassadors for the university with performances at athletic contests and events throughout the state and region.
Now, the band needs YOUR help to keep the music playing. Section by section, we’re updating our instruments, and it’s time to repair and replace the tubas. Help us give those sassy sousaphones a tune-up, so that they can continue to represent the pride of the North and spirit of the Vandals.
Shape the future of the Vandal Marching Band by giving today!

Thank you! Vandal Giving Day was more than just a day. It was a reminder of how strong Vandal Pride really is. Alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the University of Idaho showed what a difference one day can make, contributing an impressive 1,344 gifts totaling $441,313.
Over 36 hours, the Brave and Bold rallied together to help shape the future for our students and our great university. We extend a heartfelt thank you, and congratulations for our collective accomplishment. Go Vandals!
Ken (BA '69 and MA '76) and Jan Jones love the spirit and sound of the Vandal Marching Band. They are offering a $2,500 challenge gift if we can reach 120 gifts of any size to the marching band by 6:00 PM today. Don’t miss this opportunity to support the band and thank you Ken and Jan!
Have you already given? If so - THANK YOU! If you make another gift it will help achieve this challenge. And of course, sharing is more than caring - it leads to more gifts. So please share the Marching Band #VandalsGive page (click here for the page) and share it via email and social media.
Go Vandals!
