Engineering Scholarship Fund 

Many students don’t attend college due to a lack of financial resources. With your support, the University of Idaho is working to change that.

 

In addition to being the only Idaho college nationally ranked for the best value, the University of Idaho College of Engineering awards students nearly $1 million in scholarships annually. 

Your support allows us to continue to work toward making U of I attainable to a diverse population of future engineers, from all backgrounds and skillsets.  

 

Engineering Lab & Technology Upgrades 

In the last year, we’ve made significant improvements to our labs and research facilities thanks to generous support, donations and gifts of equipment from industry partners.

 

There are many changes on the horizon for our college, including updating our Senior Design Suite, Energy Systems Lab, Structures Lab, Computer Science Teaching Lab and departmental student lounges.  During these uncertain times, gifts toward Engineering Lab and Technology Upgrades will support classroom adjustments to continue successful learning and address emerging technology needs to maintain a changing learning environment.    

 

Each change is a welcomed improvement that gives our students a better experience on campus and virtually, striving for an interactive, hands-on engineering education.

 

Dean’s Excellence Fund 

The Dean’s Excellence Fund makes a University of Idaho College of Engineering education unique and an unforgettable experience. Gifts to the Dean’s Excellence Fund create the most impact and provide the greatest support to students and faculty in areas that are oftentimes overlooked. 

 

Student retention and emergency needs that do not fall under scholarships are a primary focus during these challenging times.  The Dean’s Excellence Fund is able to address obstacles that arise and allow the College of Engineering to show our commitment to our Vandal students and achieving their education.
