Vandal Marching Band Fund
In 2019, the Vandal Marching Band will celebrate its 100th year of spreading school spirit, rooting on the Vandals, and being some of the most recognized and visible ambassadors to the University of Idaho. With 240 members and growing, the “Sound of Idaho” has never sounded better. Unfortunately, their uniforms have never been worse. At more than 16 years old, these uniforms are on their last leg. While the band members have become wizards of “sewing” with electrical tape and are great at hiding those large stains, the number of usable uniforms is dwindling. Each new uniform is approximately $750, running the total cost of replacing their uniforms around $250,000. Every gift, whether it buys a uniform or a hat, makes a difference.
