At the University of Idaho College of Engineering, students don't wait until graduation to make an impact. From a Senior Capstone Design Program ranked top seven in the nation to hands-on research at an R1 institution, every part of a Vandal engineering education is built around real experience. 95% of our graduates leave with a job offer, are enrolled in graduate school, or enter military service.

Engineering the Future Scholarships
For many students, the path to an engineering degree is not always clear or accessible. Engineering Future Scholarships help make that path possible, providing the support students need to take the next step and succeed at the University of Idaho.
By opening the door to engineering education, these scholarships help students build the skills, confidence, and experience needed to pursue careers in the field and contribute to the future workforce.
Thanks to the generosity of Byron and Karen Flynn, every gift to the Engineering the Future Scholarships will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000, supporting high school students with strong potential recruited through the EXPO VIP Program who are now pursuing engineering degrees at the University of Idaho.
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam Support
Earning an engineering degree is a major milestone, and taking the next step into the profession is just as important. The Fundamentals of Engineering Exam supports students as they transition from the classroom to their careers, building confidence and demonstrating their readiness to enter the field.
It is a key step on the path toward professional licensure and long-term success in engineering.
Every five gifts to the FE Exam Support Fund will unlock $1,000 in additional support, up to $5,000. These funds support engineering seniors as they take the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam, the first step toward becoming licensed professional engineers.
