Gifts supporting Vandal Esports create hands-on learning opportunities where students develop experience in leadership, event production, marketing, broadcast media, technology, and community engagement.
Vandal Esports operates as an experiential learning environment where students apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects. Students plan and execute major events, produce live broadcasts, create media content, and build communities that connect students with shared interests.

Vandal Esports provides students with opportunities to compete, create, and collaborate in one of the fastest-growing sectors of the global entertainment and technology economy. The program combines varsity-level competition with hands-on experiential learning opportunities in broadcast production, media, event operations, technology, and digital marketing.
Vandal Esports currently supports:
- 100+ student competitors participating across multiple game titles
- Approximately 40 student staff members working in broadcast production, media, event operations, and technology roles
- 30+ high-performance gaming stations supporting practices, competition, and events
- Hundreds of hours of annual live broadcast production
- National and conference championships earned within the program’s first few years
- Ongoing community events and outreach programs connecting the university with prospective students and the broader gaming community
Students working in Vandal Esports gain hands-on experience in areas such as:
- Live broadcast production
- Video editing and content creation
- Graphic design and branding
- Event management and logistics
- Social media strategy and analytics
- Technology systems and infrastructure

Every donation of $50 or more will result in someone getting pied live on stream, and the donor’s name being added to a donor plexiglass display in the esports lab.
