Help us turn student passions into meaningful careers

Vandal Finish

Withthe new Vandal Finish program, we are reaching out to 13,000 of our students – going back to the 1990s – who left the university but are just shy of the degree requirements for their bachelor’s or associate’s degree. Many are in good academic standing but were not able to finish their degree due to cost, family obligations, commute or the impact of life's little twists. These Vandals have jobs, families and other needs that keep them from enrolling full-time and block them from the usual sources of financial aid. Your gift to theVandal Finish Fund will provide unrestricted scholarship support to get our Vandals over the finish line and create more opportunities for career and personal advancement.

Jayson Kristopher Gray CLASS Student Emergency Fund

The Emergency Fund provides financial assistance to students registered in the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Idaho who are experiencing unanticipated hardships resulting from emergency circumstances such as illness, accident or loss of income. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for this short-term assistance. Named in the memory of Jayson Kristopher Gray, a CLASS student who passed away due to suicide in 2023, this helps our students in the moments of their greatest need. You can make current-use donations or help build the endowment fund itself.

National Model UN

Each spring, the National Model United Nations (NMUN) holds its annual conference in New York City. The NMUN brings more than 5,000 college students and faculty from all over the world together to simulate the United Nations, with closing exercises held in the Assembly Hall of the United Nations. CLASS's Martin Institute has sent more than 600 students to the Model UN over the decades. Your generous gift will offset the increasing cost of travel and allow future students to attend this once-in-a-lifetime learning experience.

Thank you for your generous support of the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences!
