Vandal Marching Band

We need the Vandal Marching Band to keep the music playing!

For more than 100 years, the Vandal Marching Band has been the Sound of Idaho, spreading the Vandal spirit and cheering on the Vandals to victory.

As highly recognizable ambassadors for the University of Idaho, the Vandal Marching Band continues to gain national attention for stepping in to support Yale University when its band was not able to travel to Spokane, Washington for the 2024 NCAA men's basketball tournament.

The band’s infectious enthusiasm, dedication and tremendous musicianship sets the Sound of Idaho apart. The present success of the Vandal Marching Band is indebted to the generosity of the Vandal Family.

Your contribution during Vandal Giving Day will ensure our student-musicians continue to bring the sound and beat to the Brave and Bold. Please make a gift to the Vandal Marching Band Scholarship Fund to assist band members facing financial hardships. You can also create a lasting impact through your gift to the Vandal Marching Band Excellence Fund to replace aging instruments and cover the cost of travel and other immediate needs.
