Black/African American Cultural Center (BAACC) provides culturally relevant educational and social activities to promote academic success, leadership development, and assist with the transition from home to campus. BAACC encourages and empowers students to find, use and advocate for their community and their person. Consider supporting BAACC by giving to the Eric McMillan Diversity Scholarship which provides financial support to African American/Black students that have overcome adversity in their life and demonstrates financial need. Your contribution would support retention for our African American/Black students at the University of Idaho.
College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) assists students who have qualifying migrant/seasonal farmwork backgrounds by providing financial, academic, and other supporting services. Your contribution would support our ‘Si se Puede Endowment’ which directly supports farmworking students facing financial hardships at the University of Idaho.
LGBTQA Office Programs Fund provides extra resources for cultural enrichment events and student support efforts to benefit all students at the University of Idaho. Money donated to the fund goes directly into the operation of the LGBTQA Office and to the implementation of social and educational events targeting all students, faculty and staff at the University of Idaho. Your contribution to the LGBTQA Office Program Fund assists in the proliferation of positive education about sexual orientation and gender identity. Greater educational outreach helps create safe and welcoming climates for our queer and transgender students at the University of Idaho.
Native American Student Center (NASC) empowers Native American students by meeting their academic, social and cultural needs as they navigate the college experience. Your donation will provide critical assistance for students who face emergency needs while at UI. Many who are far from home. The assistance may include books, supplies, healthcare, or travel expenses. Your help will ease students' transition to UI and help relieve stress that may impact their studies. Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) supports our students who face financial difficulties which may impede them in completing their academic careers. With these funds, students in need have received help in covering everything from the cost of textbooks to healthcare expenses and other critical needs. Your contribution would provide the opportunity for our diverse scholars to continue excelling in their studies and achieve their academic goals while also enriching everyone's university experience.
Women's Center violence prevention initiatives The Women’s Center provides critical confidential advocacy services and emotional and logistical support to students, staff, and faculty who have experienced trauma and need a safe, welcoming, and inclusive place to find help. We also offer a comprehensive roster of violence prevention education for our entire campus and local community. Your donation will help to ensure our capacity to provide advocacy services to whoever needs them, and support programming and training that empowers individual and collective action and encourages peer accountability.
