The Raven Scholar program is a free, donations-based support service for University of Idaho students on the autism spectrum, with an 80% retention rate! Our program provides individualized services such as advocacy, one-on-one skills training, services coordination, case management and intervention for early warning grades or faculty and staff concerns.
Through Raven Scholars, students foster a sense of community and actively build and nurture social networks by:
· Engaging with returning Raven Scholars and peer-mentors.
· Participating in monthly social events.
· Spending time in our welcoming, judgment-free, dedicated space on the Moscow campus.
· Working with staff and interns who deeply understand and value neurodiversity.
· Gaining confidence by being themselves while receiving the support they need.
WHAT YOUR GIVING ACCOMPLISHES: Your support of Raven Scholars will allow us to continue providing enriching educational and social support for our students, including inviting specialists to do workshops; providing games, sensory tools, interactive activities; and more. We also provide snacks and activities for students to engage in daily.
